   Allocatus Server and Allocatus Client update existing version automatically. In case that the server needs a database update, it will tell you to uninstall the server first. Leave the database intact. Running the new version will update the database automatically.

   Please see the Admin Guide for further details.

   Hi,

   I must say I am a bit confused with the way to know the versions and to update.

   How is it possible to know what is the current version of Allocatus server?

   I can see on my server the Allocatus.WinService.exe file is version 1.7.2560.21925.

   Is there another way to know the server version? 

   I can see the client version is: 1.71.2555.22471. How to know if these are the last versions?

   And if the update is automatic, what is the process?

   Hi,

   To find out the version of the Allocatus Client, right click the Allocatus tray icon in the info area of the task-bar, select About.

   To find out the version of the Allocatus Server open the Server Configuration. For older versions right click Allocatus.WinService.exe in the Program Path, e.g. C:\Program Files\Allocatus\Server\bin\ and select Properties. The version is shown on the tab Version and the field FileVersion.
