How do I set a reminder in Microsoft Project 2016? Is there any improvement in newer versions like Microsoft Project 2019, Microsoft Project 2021 oder Microsoft Online Desktop Client?

    Hello,

if you are using Project Server 2016 or newer (or Project Online) you can use the server side notifcations. How to set those up is described here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/get-email-reminders-about-your-work-in-project-web-app-2372c181-1c98-416a-9306-ac28f027334b

If you are using the Project app locally these notifications are not available. However we think Allocatus might be the right solution for you. With Allocatus you can have your own and/or others' tasks as appointments or all-day-events in your Outlook calendar. Then you can utilize Outlook's reminders to keep track of your tasks and deadlines.

    Best Regards
